Born and raised in Phoenix, Dr. Jorgensen earned a bachelor's degree from Arizona State Unversity, and is a 1984 graduate of the Unversity of the Pacific School of Dentistry.  He is a member of the Crown Council, a prestigious alliance of leading-edge dentists throughout the United States and Canada who are strongly committed to promoting oral health. He is also a member of a Richard V. Tucker Cast Gold Study Group.  The Academy of Richard V. Tucker Study Clubs is an organization designed to foster excellence in restorative dentistry through a relatively uncompromising format in postgraduate education.

Dr. Jorgensen is a member of the Arizona Dental Association and the Arizona State Dental Association.  He served as president of the Central Arizona Dental Society 2004-2005.  For 10 years, Dr. Jorgensen was a volunteer for the St Vincent de Paul Dental Clinic, and every February, he particiates in the "Give Kids a Smile" campaign sponsored by the American Dental Association.
